Traditionally we have used Avail on DAP or MAP. How would AVAIL affect a product like MES (12-40-0-10-1) or 13-40-0-7.5-1: products that contain sulfur and zinc. Would the AVAIL increase or decrease the plant's ability to take in these micronutrients?

AVAIL should perform the same for all of these P fertilizers since the form of P present in each of these products is the same or similar. Research comparing the MES materials to MAP and DAP have shown AVAIL to provide the same beneficial effects of increased P uptake and yield with all of these products. AVAIL would have no effect on S or Zn uptake from these fertilizers.
