Being a fourth-generation farmer, Tim Dryden’s operation is rich with family history. After he started farming on his own 37 years ago, Dryden began purchasing land from family members and retired farmers. Now, he owns both of the homesteads his parent’s families settled in Larned, Kan. Assisted by his wife and son, the family farm consists of 2,800 dryland acres of wheat, milo and soybeans.
“I grew up on the farm that we now live on and farm,” remarks Dryden. “It was the only thing I ever really wanted to do.”
